Adithi Vimalanathan is an NYC-based photographer and video producer. She's currently a senior video producer at WFUV Public Radio, where she produces music performances of artists like Renée Elise Goldsberry and Japanese Breakfast. She also directs (and shoots) the station's photo coverage of NYC concerts. In her free time, she enjoys spontaneous road trips, too many coffees and long walks with good conversation.

SELECTED VIDEO WORKS

RENÉE ELISE GOLDSBERRY (2025)

I directed three performances from Renée Elise Goldsberry's visit to WFUV in 2025, where she performed songs from her solo album, "Who I Really Am."

Leading a team of three videographers, I setup the shoot for a seven-piece band and supervised editing for post-production. On this video, I shot the telephoto lead angle.

ABRAHAM ALEXANDER (2023)

I taped Academy Award-nominated Abraham Alexander's performance at The Bitter End for WFUV.

Our video of "Déjà Vu" won NPR's Best Live Sessions of 2023.

KEN POMEROY (2024)

I directed our shoot and livestream of Ken Pomeroy's visit to the Sheen Center in 2024.

During the show, I operated PTZ cameras and camera switchers. For the final video, I edited and color-corrected in post-production.

THEE SACRED SOULS (2023)

I shot Thee Sacred Souls' performance for WFUV's very last Holiday Cheer, an annual concert fundraising initiative.

Working with my team, I captured the moment when lead singer Josh Lane runs into the crowd. For this video, I had the highest angle, shooting from the balcony.

JEFF TWEEDY (2025)

I shot and edited the entirety of Jeff Tweedy's set at The Bitter End for the stations's FUV Live Sessions podcast. I edited the set from start to finish, including interviews with host Alisa Ali and performance segments.

This was the first FUV Live Sessions podcast to include a video component.
